I recently spent several days in Chicago at Frameworx, an event hosted by Crescentbrands a manufacturer of matboard and moulding for the picture framing industry. I attended seminars by legendary framers including Greg Perkins, Meg Glasgow, Jim Miller, Jay Kogan and Mariska (Mikki) Kavich. I learned about new product launches and also how our framing materials are manufactured.
One of the photos shows me with Matt Osman, executive VP of Crescentbrands, fifth generation of the company! I was so honored that he took the time to chat with me.
It was great to meet with my framing colleagues again socially and in seminars. I am looking forward to offering new moulding, matboard and techniques at Whispering Woods Gallery.
